Installation and Start-up An analysis of the existing electronic and electrical installations is carried out on board the yacht prior to the installation /assembly of new electronic devices or of the SIC system by Nautic Electronics. On the basis of this analysis a concept and a quote will be drawn up and passed on to the yacht owner. After the placing of the order Nautic Electronics will agree upon further actions and the scheduling of installation work with the customer. The analysis is not free of charge. On a subsequent placing of order according to the concept suggestion, the customer is only invoiced 50 % of the analysis costs on the total following order sum. Exempt from this are travel costs and expenses. The analysis is viewed as a preliminary project by Nautic Electronics and serves to convey the clear costs and expenditure and thus allows for a proper design conception and approach. Nautic Electronics principally takes on the complete assembly of position finding, radio, message and navigation devices as well as further machines and power units on board on behalf of and by order of the customer. The devices are assembled by Nautic Electronics’ specialists themselves or by a representative authorised by Nautic Electronics after delivery of the contractually agreed delivery specification to the customer. The customer is to ensure that specialists from Nautic Electronics or their representatives attain appropriate access to the respective yacht. Dates are pre-set or separately determined in individual cases.
