Nautic Electronics GmbH consists of a team of high-quality, excellently trained specialists in the fields of informatics, communication and network technology and specialists from the fields of software development, marketing and sales round off the team.

Nautic Electronics GmbH sees it as being extremely important to put the know-how available on land and state-of-the-art technology onto yachts and to break open previous proprietary network and component systems and implement a modern, uniformed and qualitatively correct infrastructure on board a yacht. It is, of course, clear that the word security is most important at Nautic Electronics.

Nautic Electronics develops overall communications and network systems on board yachts. In collaboration with leading manufacturers Nautic Electronics has thus developed a system that combines all sensors and units on board a yacht to one complete unit. This system is called SIC - Ship Identification Control. Together with a binary star network, the whole system is combined using a high-performance Ethernet cable so that is possible to multiplex all devices in regard to the availability of data and information.

Based on a thoroughly tested electronic infrastructure, Nautic Electronics has developed a tailor-made informatics and communications concept which should be utilised on a specific yacht. Of course, Nautic Electronics has only introduced devices to its range of products that stand out due to their high and reliable quality. It was also important for Nautic Electronics to choose devices and units which could be adapted to suit future technologies.
